Sedum is an herbaceous perennial forming a clump to 60cm in height, with fleshy, oblong, dull greyish-green leaves and large flat clusters of starry flowers (a bit like broccoli!) in early autumn. The flowers open from greenish-pink buds, then change to pale pink to become deep pink and finally turning a coppery colour in late autumn, early winter.
