Part of the mint family, this shrub is used in gardens where a pale grey foliage is required. Its a good substitute for shrubs such as lavender or rosemary, having a longer life span and a little less maintenance, although it still requires clipping if a shape is to be maintained. As well as the attractive grey foliage, this plant has the added benefit of small pretty blue flowers during the summer months.
